Hackfish is a free magazine, featuring Sunshine coast content. The focus is human interaction, art and inclusivity. Hackfish is aimed at humans living and traveling to the Sunshine Coast. Hack to live- live to Hack, be Hackfish.

If you have been lucky enough to see one of our 16 Hackfish boxes that securly holds our sunshine coast rag, good for you. The boxes are placed around the coast in some of our favorite businesses and in some sneaky spots. If you have taken the plunge and reached your hand inside, we love & commend you!! We hope to get as many sun coasters as humanly possiable hackfishing, and sending in content for our next issue.

THE ART OF THE HACK:
Critics have said that it is hard not to be affected by the hack, with its offering of “raw passion to anyone willing to watch.”
The work has inspired many critical interpretations and analyses. When one “hacks” a box, speed is first, the letting go and embracing of mistakes to bring the box to a place you may not have wanted to venture. As an artist or civilian human.

The “hacked” box then takes it’s own plunge and claims a location. The reader is now the partisipant and must take center stage and approach the box with caution and intrigue. A hand reaches for the handle of welded chain and dripping paint.
A stack of paper inside, a safe place to rest your eyes and mind and begin your Hackfish journey.

Hackfish will be hitting the streets and back roads of the cost, this Sep 2024. If Hackfish strikes a cord, drop us a line. If you have content to share or are wanting to send us a naked cord pic please feel free.
